The cutest Owl nails I've ever seen

I found a cute blog this morning. I don't know how, or what I was searching for, but I just had to share this with you.

As I'm sure you will come to learn, I love nail polish, matt, duo-chrome, metallic, glitter, pink, shimmer, shine, gloss, sparkly etc. and I wish I could do my own nail art. I probably could with my right hand to my left hand but when it comes to using my left hand to apply nail polish to my right hand its a total disaster, so how can I expect to do delicate nail art.

Anyway back to the reason for this post, I found this blog called Forever Ugly Ducking and I wanted to share this Owl Nail of the Day created by Marina. Click here to take a look at more of her pictures and what she used. I liked it so much I subscribed to her blog by email. I can't wait to see what she does next and I know I'll enjoy looking at older posts to see what else she's written.

I love cute nail designs. I think I currently subscribe to about 5 blogs dedicated to nails of the day, nail polish looks, nail polish swatches, not to mention youtubers who make nail tutorials. I like nail polish more than beauty and fashion but I think nails can definitely help pull a look together and it's very close to the beauty side as well and I remember when matching toenail colour to nails and lipstick was the trend. I'm really showing my age!

I'm also thinking of buying a Konad system and have been thinking about buying one since I first heard about it around Summer time last year but I don't know anyone who has one or has used one.

Does anyone use a Konad, and do you recommend them?

I'd like to know what should I buy first with a Konad. I think I need to buy a starter pack that includes the special Konad nail polish, templates and stamper, where do you recommend I buy a Konad from and approximately how much should I pay for a new Konad starter kit? I've seen a few on Ebay but I don't know what's a reasonable price and I don't want to be ripped off because like almost everything that's fiddly if I can't do it after a few goes I put it in the wardrobe and never use it, just like my embellishment kit.

If there are any Konad lovers out there in the UK, please get in touch with me, leave a comment with any websites linked to Konad or any other nail art design system. I think I need to start off doing something like that to get an idea and then try freehand.
