New Honey Bronze Makeup

I heard about this range when I watched Ruth Crilly's (aka amodelrecommends) May favourites video on her blog (she also has a youtube channel). Ruth listed a favourite of her's was the Honey Bronze Shimmering Dry Oil from the Body Shop so I thought I'd look into it because I've been rediscovering a love for honey products lately.

I checked my email and saw as an email subscriber, The Body Shop had sent me information about this range. I clicked the link and was taken to the Body Shop's website for the new Honey Bronze products.

Here's a list of the honey bronze products:

1. Honey Bronze Shimmering Dry Oil (100ml) £16.00 each

2. Honey Bronzing Gel for Face (30ml) £11.00 each

3. Honey Bronze Bronzing Powder £13.00 each
comes in 3 shades 01) Light Matte, 02) Fair Matt and 3) Medium Matte.

4. Honey Bronze Lip Nectar (14ml) £9.50 each
and comes in 2 shades 01) Coral and 02) Sand.

5. Honey Bronze Brilliance Powder (6gr) £16.00 (comes in 2 shades 01) Bronze and 02) Copper

These are now available in-stores as well as online at The Body Shop UK.

After reading up about these products I liked what the body shop said:

In our mission to save the bees, we’re funding scientific research into the preferred flora of bees in urban areas. This will shed light on the types of flowers that could be planted in inner-city gardens to encourage the bee population to grow. We’re also working closely with our Community Fair Trade honey and beeswax suppliers in Africa, helping to support and promote their traditional beekeeping methods.

I've been buying products from the body shop since I was a teenager and its one of my favourite brands. I absolutely love their soaps, face products, makeup, bath and shower gels, body butters and I've even tried their hair henna's and loved them, but I don't think they stock henna's anymore.

There are tonnes of ranges I still haven't tried like the Meringa, Lemon, Acai, Blueberry, Lemon, Vanilla and Macadamia and I'm sure there is a lot more I simply haven't tried.

My old favourites which I still buy from time-to-time are the orange, strawberry and the apple soaps and shower gels, also the cocoa butter and the mango body butters and I have the new Dreams Unlimited body butter which is so lovely I'd like to try more from this range.

I have the 50ml mango body butter as well as the free 400ml mango bath/shower gel (which I got today) from the body shop's website, because I finally signed up to their Body Loves loyalty programme. You can read more about that offer and the cost of joining the loyalty scheme and the benefits of joining here

I also like I can shop through Nectar to collect nectar loyalty points when I shop at my favourite online shops like the body shop, ebay UK, evans, iTunes, Apple,  and many more. If you want to know more about Nectar card (UK only) please click here. I'm all about collecting points, discount and free gifts and vouchers with purchase and I also like the freebies which come with a magazine issues.

Another thing I love about the body shop is the variety of scented products and ranges, the sizing and of course the price point. I think its affordable and as well as supporting Australian companies I like to support UK companies that are being responsible and have an interest and raise awareness to the plight of bees, rainforest deforestation, the environment, natural and organic products etc.

Am I going to buy the new Honey Bronze makeup? yes, I want to buy:

the Honey Bronze Shimmering Dry Oil, the Honey Bronzing gel for the face and the Honey Bronze Bronzing Powder in 01) Light Matte and see how much I like them, I can do without the other two products at the moment.

What products do you like to buy from the body shop?

Have you never shopped at the body shop before?

Would you buy any of the new honey bronze makeup products?
