NOTD Case Study & Ghoulish Glow 22/09/11

I couldn't decide today on just one shade having received 3 brand new Essie's from the Carry On Collection. Namely Lady Like, Case Study and Glamour Purse in the post since Friday, so I decided to do a Pinky Finger manicure (I normally do an accent nail on the ring fingers).

Essie's Case Study

Case Study applied on bare nails (no base coat) on all fingers except my pinky's where I used Glamour Purse and all fingers except Pinky's were coated with the new China Glaze "Ghoulish Glow" Top Coat.

I had to wait until dark to show you this final picture!

What do you think?

I felt like doing something different today. I'm planning on using Ghoulish Glow a lot more next month in the weeks before and of Halloween but I'm going to try it over a my Revlon Lunar (Black) polish or maybe over China Glaze's For Audrey to see what happens but I'm keen to see how Ghoulish Glow would work with a red underneath too.

To get ghoulish glow to work you leave it directly under a lamp or light so that it will help it glow and then apply it. I applied 3 coats. Unfortunately, iPhone's don't seem to like it so the only glow it picked up was the bottle and not on my nails too.

I love Ghoulish Glow I ordered it from the US because I wanted it super quick so I had time to play with it and I ordered it through amazon.com Seller and had it shipped to MYUS address and it was sent from there by DHL along with my Case Study polish. Read about how fantastic MYUS is here and if you sign-up with my link and place you're first order they'll give you 15% Off, but you must be a new customer!.

Have you bought any of the new shades from Essie or China Glaze recently?
