NOTD 24/01/12 Miki 9155

Before yesterday, I had never heard of Miki Cosmetics. I believe they're an Australian brand but lucky for me they're also sold in New Zealand.

I discovered this polish when shopping in the Unichem Pharmacy (Drugstore) yesterday. I was on the hunt for OPI's Rainbow Connection (it had soldout). A lady who worked there was wearing this on her toes so I asked her what it was and there was only 1 of this one left so I snapped it up. I ended up buying a non-neon purple polish too. Miki Mini polishes are NZ$2.95 each or 2 bottles for NZ$5.00.

I don't have any other neon polishes and I'm quite surprised I was so drawn to this, but I love it!

It's Summer here in the Southern hemisphere.

Miki polishes don't seem to have shade names so this is 9155 and it's a super-bright Orange. I'm wearing 3 coats and you can still see my nail tip but I felt 4 coats would be too much and 2 coats too thin. This is just about perfect and the brush covers the nail in 2 strokes. I'm definitely going to buy more Miki polishes.

Miki's website says: Miki is for the pretty, bold and young at heart. Full of colour, texture and all round fun, Miki is a fantastic way to add that sparkling finishing touch to your look. Day or night, choose from an always-evolving range of lip, nail and eye products.
