Colgate MaxWhite Toothpaste and Mouthwash

Hi Ladies,

I've been looking to step-up my oral hygiene routine because I think it's a good thing to try new products. I browsed the supermarket shelves for an affordable toothpaste and mouthwash that also helped with teeth whitening and tried Colgate MaxWhite.

I have sensitive teeth and have also tried Sensadyne but it tastes foul, it helped a little with sensitivity but it really did nothing to freshen my breath, or whiten my teeth so I'm using up the tube and I probably won't buy it again.

Anyway, I decided on the Colgate MaxWhite and I bought the Toothpaste and Mouthwash. From Day 1 I noticed improvement. I don't drink a lot of coffee but I do drink it and my teeth were discoloured so I wanted them to be whiter . I've now been using MaxWhite for a month I really can see a noticeable difference (if I had thought about this at the beginning of my new routine I would've started taking before, during and after photos) but I didn't think about writing a blog on a toothpaste when I started.

I feel this toothpaste really does work, it's a bit more expensive than a regular toothpaste but well worth it, it's got a pleasant after taste and running my tongue over freshly washed teeth they feel clean and smooth. I also use the mouthwash a few times a day (and keep a small old refilled bottle in my handbag for times when I'm out and want to freshen my breath without carrying toothpaste and a toothbrush with me on a day to day basis) but it doesn't taste very nice, yet I feel it works with the toothpaste so I'll keep using it until I can get my teeth a nice shade of white.

Professional Teeth whitening treatments are expensive and I can't afford them, though I'd love to have them professionally whitened and maintain them myself. Colgate MaxWhite products are an affordable alternative to professional teeth whitening.

In a few month's I hope I'm going to be fitted for Invisalign (after I get my wisdom teeth taken out) so this routine is also for my pre-Dentist visit and I don't want the dentist to think I don't try and take care of my teeth so a little whitening will give me a little more confidence. It's expensive to go to the Dentist in New Zealand, so I'm going to aim go once every 6 month's for a checkup (I guess it depends on what the dentist finds) but I think with Invisalign I'll be going a lot more frequently.

I also think Colgate's Xtra White was pretty good. I first starting using it in December, but I think the MaxWhite is much better so I've switched products and unless you have heavily stained teeth, I'm sure you'll notice a difference after your first or second use or within the first week.

I bought Colgate MaxWhite from New World I think it was something like NZ$3.99 for the toothpaste but I can't remember the cost of the mouthwash. I'm sure you can buy both for under $15 which isn't expensive for whiter and clean feeling teeth.

This is not a Sponsored post. I thought I'd share my thought's on using Colgate MaxWhite products because a lot of us are looking for better oral hygiene routines and I thought it might be helpful to know that I'm using it and really like these two products and recommend you give them a try. I'm sticking to MaxWhite but that's not to say I won't try other new affordable teeth whitening products in the future.

Please let me know if you use Colgate MaxWhite and did you see results early on?
